As a Director at eduInnovation, I build campaigns that create impact. Our company partners with foundations to scale innovations in learning. To date, I have managed two campaigns, Generation Do-It-Yourself (GenDIY) focused on the future of work and learning sponsored by the Albertson Family Foundation and Ask About AI focused on the implications of artificial intelligence (AI) sponsored by the Hewlett Foundation.
Artificial Intelligence (AI) will have more influence on the lives and livelihoods of young people over the next few decades than any other factor. While AI will help address our most pressing problems, it has the potential to exacerbate gaps in society and pose existential threats. Our #AskAboutAI campaign investigates the implications that AI will have on employment, learning and ethical issues--a conversation around how we can shape a future that works for everyone.
GenDIY is a campaign about reimagining secondary and postsecondary education. It’s the story of young people charting their own course and the lessons they have learned.
The campaign is hosted by nonprofit eduInnovation in partnership with Getting Smart and with support from the J.A. and Kathryn Albertson Family Foundation. It includes over 100 stories of young people making their way toward impact-driven and entrepreneurial careers in a a global economy. It includes a toolkit for young people and the adults that care about them.
